Kiku Tamura founded Moritaya in 1927. Her son Yasushige Tamura operated the restaurant after his mother. Today, Yasushige’s son Kenji Tamura is operating Moritaya in the third generation together with his family.
Since its foundation, Moritaya stands for daily fresh, handmade Soba and Udon. We work hard to let you enjoy the original taste of Moritaya’s Soba, Udon and Tsuyu-sauce.
You can enjoy our traditional food in the warm atmosphere of the air-conditioned dining room. We have Japanese-style tatami-tables as well as western-style tables with chairs.
In the neighborhoods of Moritaya we also love to deliver our meals to your home, office, party or ceremony. Please don’t hesitate to call us at 0284 (62) 0322 to place your orders. Our delivery food comes in real dishes, which we will collect from you in the afternoon or on the following day.
